"It will help you fit in better," Silvia told her,"we're in New York, Central Park to be more specific," she added. She pointed the the cats wings," you can hide those in your shirt, that is if you have one," she said

"I can only take the wings away..." Said the cat, now normal. Closing her eye she fell asleep.

I can't leave her here while I search for the boy... she thought guiltily. She picked up the cat and put her on her shoulder. She unfurled her wings and flew up into the early morning air. She soon spotted what she was looking for when she heard the boy yell in pain.

The dirty blone was caught in an alley pinned to the wall by a gang. One had just rushed forward and sliced at his arm with an unsheathed pocket knife. He cried out in pain for he could not stop himself. Ever since the following day in that strange place he was hurt easily, his skin odviously thinner than it had used to be. Just then another gang member pulled out a gun and walked close enough to where the barrel of his small pistol was resting on the boy's forehead,"let's see how brave you are now since you show that you were brave enough to come on our turf," the person sneared.

As the men cocked the gun and girl with firey red hair came falling from the sky hissing, Her booted foot hit the gunman right in the side of his face he fell to the ground the gun skidding behind a dumpster. She then released two big whte gray/blue tipped and light gray spotted wings and sent a strong gust of dirt and grit trowards the gang. They all started to run except for the one with the knife. He threw the knife towards the winged girl but she ducked, the knife continued on it's course and hit the boy right below his shoulder. Another yell of pain escaped his dull colored lips. He fell to the ground as the girl noticed what had happend and ran claw like fingers across the chest of the boy's attacker. The men ran with the rest of the gang out of the alley.

Silvia was now flying with the boy and the cat again towad a hidden area that was covered and was located behind a mall. "you two wil be safe here while I go grab some suppiles to clean your wounds," she told them both looking at the boy, and then the knife still embedded in his chest. "Why don't you just take it out right now?" he questioned threw gritted teeth. "Because, if I did that you would have already bleed out and died before I return," she explained quickly. She ran out of the shealter threw a hidden enterance before He could question her any further.

Silvia later returned with food, drink, and a first aid kit,"don't worry, I had money," she said pulling out some bills and handed a few to the boy," to buy yourself some new clothes with," she answered his questioning look. With that she started to treat him by quickly yanking out the weapon and placing on an old towel she had found, she started cleanin gthe wound and dressing it.

The cat yawned as she was placed on the bench. "Who! What! Where! When! Why! AAAHHHHH!" She screamed as soon as the cold metal touched her fur.

"Huh? Where am I? How did I get here? Why am I here? How long was I out?" She had jumped when woken up into a deep puddle and now was shivering.

Belly rumbling and throat parched, she eyed the food and drink that Silvia had brought. Remembering to turn into a human, she did and was even colder. Her deep emerald green eyes looked as though you could melt in them. A warm red t-shirt and fuzzy gray pants gave her a childish appearance. A durable and soft looking backpack was now resting on her shoulders. In all, she was gorgeous, beautiful, cute, and friendly all at the same time.

"What happened to him; and more importantly, what can I do to help?"

The boy gritted his teeth in pain as Silvia helped him,"I was stabbed." His words were shoking, but true. Silvia looked up when she was finished and her green eyes met his blues ones that were woven with green. "Aren't your eyes blue?" she asked. "Ya? What's up with them?" "Oh, they are surronded by a green, kinda like they're glowing," she responded. Silvia rose to her feet again and walked toward where she had gone before,"I'm going to go see if I can find anymore of the old cloth I found earlier, it's proven very useful," she said looking down at the one that held the pocket knife

"I have a fully stocked herb kit so I can numb the pain (clover), take away infection (dock both), and dress it in more bandages," Flarie offered.

"I think I'll be ok," said the boy,"Oh an my name's Kolen!" he called to the leaving girl. She only flicked a yellow and light brown striped tail at him, and that made his eyes widen.

Kolen suddenly fell to the ground his body trembling uncontrollably. This wasn't a seiser, Kolen had never had one, but he knew it wasn't. "Help!" he sputtered the words from his lips

"A tremor? You do need me. back where I come from, we had plenty of these. Now settle down and let me treat you." Picking the boy up, she unwrapped his wound, took a handful of little herbs and ground them up.

"Eat it all and you won't feel pain,'' She told him.

Taking a bundle of larger herbs, she mashed those and put some water in them and poured it onto the wound. Dressing it in a thick white towel, she wrapped the boy in a blanket and told him that the clovers would help him sleep too.

Kolen Continued to shake dispite the girls help. Silvia ran into the hut,"what's wrong?!" she asked unwrapping him from the blanket to help him. He pointed a trembling finger towards the pocket knife laying a little ways from him," my back he said in almost a whisper. she drug the knife closer to her and flipped Kolen over and lifted his shirt to see that right beside his shoulder blades along his spine were pumping with effert. "Slit it," he ordered her threw bared teeth. When she just sat there shocked by his last words he yanked her wrist over to the pocket knife which she grasped and he let go,"Now!" Silvia looked and he now had his forearm tightly gripped in his mouth. I'll try to do this as painless as possible... she thought to him. She struck his back with the blade and she felt his body gurk beneth it's hilt. She drew the pocket knife downward and withdrew it, she continued to do the same to the oppiste side of his back. Blood was running down the side of his back and were begining to stain the towel beneth him, some pooled right along his spine. Then the unexpected happened, it always did in Silvia's life and she knew it would continue to be so, two 6 foot long green, scaley wings that resembled an Eagles. As the girls looked down at his shoulders they were theroughly covered in shining green scales where Silvia had just uesd the knife. "How strange," she meowed. She looked down to see that Kolen's grap on his arm had decreaced and there were teeth marks where his mouth had once been. His eyes were wide open but he was knocked out. They looked as though they were glowing a green, practicly engulfing the blue, and all of the gleaming light that was in his eyes was an erie green as well. "We'll have to keep a close eye on him now," Silvia said leaving him as he was,"since his life has changed..."

"What just happeded?"

Silvia's eyes darkened,"I was an experiment for a new instent DNA growth thingy and apperently he was too," she explained keeping her voice low. "Mine was cat DNA," she said showing her ears, tail, claws, and fangs," and his must have been, I'm guessing Reptilian and Eagle perhaps," she said," that explained the scales and wings, they'll grow in due time, but he's not ready to go flying, let alone anywhere," she told the girl," there's probably tons of Erasers out there looking for their long lost experiments and he can't fly away to escape yet, he's like a newborn fledgling, and so are his wings," she finished

"No, it was dragon."

Silvia rolled her light green eyes,"those aren't real," she said humorisly
